Gild Hall - A Thompson Hotel, is one of the newest hotels to join the Thompson family of hotels. We are well underway with our multimillion dollar renovation of the guestrooms, lobby, restaurant and bar. The lobby and guests rooms are expected to be completed by March, 2008. The restaurant and bar by Chef Todd English will debut in April, 2008.
Gild Hall - A Thompson Hotel, located on historic Gold Street, just minutes from Wall Street, South Street Seaport and The New York Stock Exchange, brings a new level of stylish luxury to Manhattan’s illustrious Financial District. The hotel will feature 126 guestrooms including 10 luxurious suites. Designed by Jim Walrod, the rooms are warm and sophisticated, with rich colors of chocolate and red accented with artwork by Slim Aarons. Leather covered headboards and elegant custom-designed wooden furniture are directly inspired by pieces that Jacques Adnet designed for French Fashion house Hermes during the 1950's. Throughout the design, there is a classical European sensibility mixed with American contemporary taste and a harmonious blend that result in a comfortable, cozy and luxurious stay.

To ensure our travelers’ needs are met during this transitional phase, we have made an agreement with “Gold Street”, a 24-hour restaurant and bar right across the street from the hotel where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests may present their room key to receive a 10% discount on all meals. In addition, a fully equipped fitness center, “Gold’s Gym”, is available one block away from the hotel should guests need to keep up with a fitness regimen. Vouchers for the gym are available at the front desk and grant complimentary access when presented at Gold’s Gym in conjunction with a room key.
